Job Title: Data Analyst
DESCRIPTION OF ROLE
Natural Capital Research requires a data analyst to join its expanding team of spatial scientists and modellers. This is a fabulous opportunity to join a growing company actively working to help conserve natural capital in the UK.
The successful candidate will have:
A PhD in a quantitative field such as: Maths, Statistics, Analytics or Data Science or Social / Human Geography or equivalent work experience.
Highly developed IT, data and numeracy skills.
The ability to work effectively with large volumes of complex, varied data from multiple sources.
The post holder will be responsible for data collation, data cleansing and analysis to support the delivery of cutting edge natural, social and human capital solutions. You will be adept at applying rigorous logic, analysis and statistical methods to describe and analyse data and ensure all deliverables are well-tested and robust.
The position offers the right candidate the opportunity to work on the delivery of innovative and high-profile natural, social and human capital modelling projects. Experience of working with big-data and statistical modelling will be an advantage.

The initial contract will be for 3 months.
The salary will be up to £35,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time) depending on skills and experience. employees.
